Azalea Plaza (1328) is home to a thriving Hardee's restaurant operated by Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc., the largest franchisee of Hardee's restaurants in the United States. The Hardee's restaurant at Azalea Plaza is now hiring exceptional Restaurant Managers who are passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences and supporting their teams with positive, respectful leadership. This role is critical in maintaining high standards of service, food quality, food safety, and cleanliness while driving sales growth and profitability. As a Restaurant Manager, you will lead by example, working alongside crew members to ensure smooth operations and to provide effective training and support. The position requires someone who can motivate and develop staff, recognize their achievements, and maintain a harmonious work environment.

The Restaurant Manager will operate the restaurant in the absence of the Senior/General Manager and collaborate closely with the management team to meet company standards. Responsibilities include interviewing and hiring qualified staff, scheduling shifts according to guest flow, managing labor and inventory costs, conducting meetings, coaching, and ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation, and human resources policies. Managing cash handling procedures and maintaining equipment and the physical appearance of the facility are also key aspects of this role.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Interview and hire qualified staff to operate the restaurant based on company standards and in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • schedule sufficient staff to operate the restaurant and accommodate guest flow
  • manage labor costs to meet company standard
  • train and develop crew under the direction of the Senior/General Manager
  • maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationship with management team and crew
  • provide coaching, counseling, and discipline as warranted
  • assist with crew member duties as needed
  • conduct crew and management team meetings as needed to discuss operation procedures, promotions, safety, security, training, etc.
  • maintain an adequate supply of all products and items necessary to operate the restaurant
  • control inventory to meet company Food Cost Variance standard
  • maintain reports and records based on company standards and in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • maintain building and equipment using proper operating, cleaning, and preventive maintenance procedures
  • responsible for all cash
  • ensure adherence to cash procedures
  • ensure personal appearance meets company standard and displays professionalism at all times
  • recognize and adhere to all HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant environment for all
