Job Description

Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc. is a family-owned, Christian-based company and the largest franchisee of Hardee's restaurants in the United States. With a dedication to providing exceptional opportunities and positively influencing people’s lives, Boddie-Noell Enterprises operates multiple Hardee’s locations delivering high-quality food, excellent service, and a welcoming environment. The company prides itself on a leadership approach that emphasizes working alongside team members rather than managing from a distance. This hands-on management style ensures effective resolution of guest issues, maintaining product quality, and efficient problem-solving as they arise. As a result, Boddie-Noell has built a reputation for a caring workplace culture that fosters long-term employee retention and professional development.

The role of Restaurant Shift Leader at Boddie-Noell Enterprises is an opportunity for a motivated, passionate individual to grow their career within a supportive team environment. This position involves training to take responsibility for operating the restaurant during shifts in the absence of senior or general management. The Shift Leader plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth by maintaining the highest standards of service, food quality, and cleanliness while focusing on profitability and operational excellence. Candidates will work directly with crew members to train and develop them, ensure compliance with all company and regulatory standards, and uphold a positive and professional restaurant atmosphere.

As part of the leadership team, the Shift Leader supervises daily restaurant operations, manages labor costs, controls inventory, maintains accurate reports and records in line with federal and state regulations, and oversees the handling of cash and deposits. This role requires maintaining the facility and equipment to company standards through proper cleaning and preventive maintenance. Shift Leaders are expected to enforce all HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies to ensure a safe, compliant workplace. They also lead by example in personal presentation and professional conduct.

This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and who possess strong leadership skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to serving others. The company emphasizes respect, motivation, and recognition for team members, making it a supportive place to develop career skills and make lasting friendships. Boddie-Noell offers competitive pay, paid training, and ample opportunities for advancement in an environment that values teamwork and personal development.

The employment type is full-time with weekly pay. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K, vacation and sick leave, bereavement pay, discounted meals during shifts, and a supportive workplace that encourages veterans and individuals with military experience to apply. Boddie-Noell also offers unique employee assistance programs such as financial help in times of need and corporate chaplain services to support personal and professional well-being. Join Boddie-Noell Enterprises as a Restaurant Shift Leader to build a rewarding career while making a meaningful contribution to an exceptional team and community.
