Job Description

Our company operates across Salt Lake County and Utah County, servicing four retail stores along with a main office. We are committed to providing excellent service and maintaining high standards in all our locations. Our retail stores are key to our community presence, and the main office coordinates operations to ensure smooth logistics and support. We are currently seeking a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Handyman/Driver to join our dynamic team. This is a versatile, part-time role, approximately 25 to 35 hours per week, with hourly pay ranging from $17.00 to $19.00. The typical work schedule is from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, but some days may require an additional hour or more based on business and seasonal needs. Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, this role is a vital component in maintaining and supporting our retail stores and main office facilities.

The Handyman/Driver will be responsible for performing a broad range of maintenance and repair tasks across our locations. This includes general handyman duties such as repairing or replacing locks, doors, and hardware; changing lightbulbs, ballasts, and basic electrical fixtures; handling minor plumbing and painting; and conducting assembly and general repairs. Troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues promptly will be crucial to ensuring uninterrupted operations.

Additionally, the role involves making regular merchandise deliveries from our Sandy headquarters to the store locations. The candidate will also provide warehouse support, including receiving, organizing, and moving inventory items. Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all company vehicles—such as washing and interior cleaning—is also part of the job description. A flexible, can-do attitude is essential since the position requires adapting to various unexpected tasks and problem-solving challenges throughout the workday.

Job Requirements

  • Strong handyman skills
  • Experience driving larger vehicles
  • Ability to safely lift and move items up to 70 lbs
  • Clean driving record verified by background check
  • Ability to pass an extensive background check
  • Reliable morning availability starting at 8:00 AM
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Positive attitude and flexibility

  • General construction or maintenance background preferred
  • Familiarity with Salt Lake and Utah County areas preferred

Job Duties
