Job Description

Our Warehouse District hotel is a premier establishment located across from the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and just a short distance from downtown attractions such as Harrah's Casino, the famous Riverwalk, and the iconic Superdome. As the closest hotel to the cruise ports, our property offers a unique blend of convenience and comfort, complemented by free shuttle services and special cruise packages designed to enhance the guest experience. Guests can start their day with a complimentary hot breakfast and take advantage of a variety of nearby dining options. Our hotel prides itself on superior service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations in every interaction.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Valet Attendant to join our dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in the guest experience, acting as the first and last point of contact with every visitor. Your mission as a Valet Attendant is to ensure every guest's vehicle is parked safely and retrieved quickly, showcasing your ability to handle keys, manage valet tickets, and maintain the organization of the parking area with precision. Beyond parking, you are expected to deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, assisting with luggage, shuttling guests in larger vehicles, directing traffic, and answering phone inquiries courteously.

This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, capable of multitasking and working efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. You will be instrumental in creating a smooth flow of arrivals and departures, ensuring that the curbside environment is welcoming and orderly. The role also demands adaptability and resilience, as you will work outdoors in various weather conditions and respond to the dynamic needs of the hotel and its guests throughout the day.

The Valet Attendant position offers a full-time opportunity with a competitive benefits package after the initial waiting period, including daily pay options, medical, dental, and vision coverage, short-term and long-term disability income, life and AD&D insurance, paid time off, employee assistance programs, and a 401k retirement plan. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to build a career in hospitality, particularly within a vibrant urban setting that offers both challenge and growth potential. If you are eager to join a property known for its strategic location, quality service, and guest satisfaction, this is the perfect opportunity to contribute your skills and enthusiasm to our team.
