This role is for a reliable and experienced School Custodian who will be responsible for performing general cleaning duties within designated areas in K-12 schools, colleges, or university campus environments. The employment opportunity is ideal for individuals entering or re-entering the workforce, with no formal education or prior experience required, as on-the-job training will be provided. As a school custodian, you will play an essential part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming educational environment conducive to learning and community well-being. The position involves cleaning classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and other facility areas with meticulous attention to detail.

Duties include sweeping, mopping, removing debris and spills, cleaning and polishing furniture and fixtures, caring for restrooms, collecting and separating recycling, and conducting seasonal outdoor tasks such as sweeping walks, raking leaves, cutting grass, and snow removal. The custodian must also adhere to safety and quality standards, properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment, notify supervisors of maintenance needs, and establish good working relationships with clients, coworkers, and management.
