Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • No experience required and on the job training provided
  • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
  • Ability to perform physical tasks required by the job
  • Willingness to adhere to company safety and quality standards
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Prior customer service experience
  • One year of prior similar work experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to follow safety and cleaning procedures
  • Teamwork and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Clean and maintain assigned area including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, and stairways
  • Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors in designated areas
  • Regularly check and empty trash receptacles in all designated areas
  • Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
  • Notify lead cleaner or manager of minor or major repairs needed
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers
  • Collect, consolidate, and separate recycling into proper receptacles
