The role of Store Associate at H Mart encompasses various specialized positions including Meat, Seafood, Grocery, Produce, Ready to Cook (RTC), Operation Support, Houseware, Cashier, and Customer Service Associate. This hourly position offers a wage range between $16 and $20 and involves working in a fast-paced retail environment where attention to detail, teamwork, and customer service skills are vital.

In the Meat department, associates prepare, process, and pack various products such as pork, beef, and chicken, ensuring proper handling according to food safety guidelines. Seafood associates clean, filet, and prepare seafood while providing friendly customer assistance. Grocery associates are responsible for unloading, sorting, checking expiration dates, labeling, and organizing inventory while maintaining proper signage and tracking stock. Produce associates focus on the merchandising, storage, and display of fresh fruits, vegetables, and ancillary products such as tofu and nuts, continuously expanding their knowledge to maintain quality and freshness.

RTC associates prepare meals according to standardized recipes, monitor food items, and uphold strict cleanliness standards. Operation Support associates play a crucial role in maintaining store safety by monitoring parking lots, assisting customers with groceries, bagging purchases, and performing cleaning and maintenance duties throughout the store. Houseware associates manage inventory, assist in ordering, conduct sales interactions, and handle customer inquiries ensuring a satisfying shopping experience. Cashiers perform all register functions, handle transactions with accuracy, and assist with bagging and customer service. Customer Service Associates greeting customers, assist with product-related queries, handle paperwork such as invoices, and address customer issues following company policies.
