From iconic sports arenas and national parks to casinos and hotels, Delaware North offers unparalleled opportunities for personal and professional growth within the hospitality industry. Operating concessions, premium dining, and restaurants at Truist Park, Atlanta, Georgia, Delaware North has been an integral part of the vibrant atmosphere since the stadium opened in 2016. The venue, home to Major League Baseball's Atlanta Braves, provides a dynamic and exciting work environment where the team is dedicated to delivering memorable dining and entertainment experiences for guests.

The role of Cook 3 at Delaware North in Truist Park is a seasonal position with a competitive pay rate of $20.05 per hour. This position is excellent for individuals seeking to showcase their culinary skills and leadership abilities within a fast-paced, high-volume sports venue setting. As a Cook 3, you will serve as a visible leader in the kitchen, collaborating closely with management and team members to plan menus, ensure food quality, and maintain strict adherence to health and sanitation standards. Cooks in this position employ waste control guidelines to minimize spoilage and maintain detailed records. The role involves performing opening and closing duties, side work, and inventory management to ensure smooth kitchen operations during shifts.

This position requires physical stamina and the ability to handle the demands of a busy kitchen environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and walking throughout shifts, and working in variable temperatures. The ability to read and comprehend recipes, apply basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately, and operate kitchen equipment efficiently are essential for success in this role.

Delaware North values the well-being of its team members and offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to provide security and support. Team members enjoy weekly pay, training and development opportunities, flexible work schedules, and employee discounts. Eligible employees can also access health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plans with company match, paid vacation and holidays, parental bonding leave, employee assistance programs, and tuition or professional certification reimbursement.

Joining Delaware North means becoming part of a family-owned company with a century-long legacy and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The company welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and is proud to offer career paths in various hospitality sectors—including sports, gaming, and retail—supporting both part-time and full-time employment models.
