Job Description
American Golf is a leading name in the golf hospitality industry, with a well-established reputation for enhancing the game of golf and fostering strong community ties. With its expertise in golf course operations and club culture, American Golf is dedicated to creating warm, welcoming, and memorable experiences for every guest and member who visits their courses. As a company, they prioritize exceptional course care, outstanding customer service, and the creation of inviting environments that encourage people to play golf, connect with others, and feel at home. This commitment stems from the belief that golf transcends the realm of sport; it is a place where relationships are built, traditions flourish, and community spirit thrives.
The role of Golf Cart Attendant at American Golf is an integral part of the club's hospitality and guest experience team. This position focuses on providing safe and efficient transportation for guests who need assistance accessing upper-level areas of the clubhouse, thus enhancing their overall visit. The attendant will operate golf carts to transport guests to and from the second-floor restaurant and other clubhouse sections, specifically supporting those with mobility needs in a professional and respectful manner. Beyond transportation, the role acts as a supportive function within the front-of-house operations, maintaining smooth service flow, cleanliness, and organization of the golf carts and entry areas.
This role requires individuals who are proactive in monitoring guest flow, identifying those who may need assistance, and ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously. Effective communication with the host stand and management is essential for coordinating guest services and timing. The attendant also supports various operational tasks such as greeting guests, restocking supplies, resetting menus, and providing wayfinding assistance throughout the clubhouse. During peak periods and special events, this position is vital to maintaining efficient service and contributing positively to the guest experience.
American Golf values employees who are engaged, flexible, and committed to delivering a high standard of service in a dynamic environment. This role requires standing and walking for extended periods and operating small transport vehicles safely. Candidates should possess a valid driver's license and a strong guest service mindset. The company honors inclusivity and equal employment opportunities, ensuring a diverse and supportive workplace for all team members. Working at American Golf means being part of a team that supports community building through a shared passion for golf and guest hospitality.
