The Guest Services Universal Agent Ambassador at the Sports Illustrated Resort in Nashville plays an integral role in shaping the guest experience. This full-time position is based in the central location of Nashville, Tennessee, within the vibrant hospitality scene of the city. The role is designed to welcome, assist, and facilitate guest interactions within the resort lobby, acting as the first point of contact during their visit. Tasked with maintaining the flow of lobby traffic and reducing wait times, the Universal Agent Ambassador ensures that every guest feels valued and receives seamless service from arrival through departure.
Key responsibilities include greeting guests with professionalism, managing check-in and check-out functions, conducting payments, and providing comprehensive concierge services. The role incorporates the critical function of backup for other Universal Agents when registering guests or answering calls on the hotel PBX system, ensuring operational continuity. This ambassador also handles guest issues using the WYNSOS system and follows-up to guarantee their satisfaction. Financial stewardship is required in balancing cash receipts, completing cash bank and petty cash procedures, and maintaining a clean, organized front desk area stocked with necessary amenities.
Furthermore, the role involves coordination with other departments to meet guest requests effectively and resolve complaints professionally. The Universal Agent Ambassador offers vital concierge services, providing information about local attractions and assisting with reservations or cancellations. Preparing paperwork for arriving guests and familiarizing them with resort facilities and promotional opportunities, such as inviting participation in Travel + Leisure Co. presentations, is also part of the mandate.
The position requires a person with excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive outlook, and a service-oriented mindset. The role promotes a positive guest experience by managing details with great care, presenting a polished image, and upholding the resort’s standards for hospitality. This job is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy interacting with diverse clientele, and are passionate about hospitality and travel.
This role is part of a company culture that prioritizes inclusivity, excellence, and fun, with strong support for employee development and community engagement. As part of the benefits package, associates working 30 or more hours per week have access to comprehensive health and welfare benefits, including medical, dental, vision insurance, and other supportive programs. Temporary and seasonal associates though not eligible for paid time off, can benefit from various other incentives.
