The Guest Services Staff position is a vital part of AEG's commitment to providing exceptional experiences for every guest who steps into their venues. This role serves as the primary point of contact for guests within the venue, responsible for ensuring a welcoming, safe, and secure environment from the moment guests arrive until they leave. Guest Services Staff are expected to deliver professional, courteous, and efficient customer service, addressing guest inquiries, providing directions, assisting with seating, managing coat checks, and enforcing venue policies. They play an essential role in monitoring guest behavior, including responsible alcohol consumption and emergency procedures if necessary. This position requires the ability to work in dynamic conditions, maintain a positive attitude, and interact respectfully with a diverse range of guests. The compensation for this role ranges between $14 and $16 per hour, with part-time benefits eligibility under the ACA qualification. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalency
  • 0-2 years of related work experience
  • Previous experience working in events and knowledge of the music industry preferred
  • Ability to work in varying conditions
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance
  • Positive attitude with superior customer service skills
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed according to venue schedule
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Answer guest questions and direct guests to important areas of the venue such as restrooms, ATM, coat checks, VIP areas, and concert areas
  • Operate coat check rooms following established guidelines and procedures
  • Scan tickets for entry and administer applicable wristbands for event entrance including 21 plus, VIP access, and private event access
  • Greet guests and resolve guest complaints, escalating concerns as necessary
  • Monitor guest conduct to ensure a safe and secure environment, including monitoring alcohol consumption to prevent underage drinking and ensure responsible beverage consumption
  • Seat guests and assist ADA patrons
  • Enforce all venue policies and procedures
  • Complete company and venue required trainings and participate in employee meetings
  • Act as a member of the emergency evacuation team by communicating with and directing guests during emergencies
  • Monitor venue during guest arrival and exit to comply with fire safety regulations
  • Perform other duties as directed by management and supervisors
