The Guest Services Supervisor position at Stonebridge in Boulder, Colorado, plays a vital role within the hotel’s operations. This is a non-exempt position offering a competitive pay range of $24.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience, along with performance-based incentives. The role is designed to ensure guests receive professional and competent service while supporting the Assistant General Manager in overseeing front office staff and bar operations.

As a Guest Services Supervisor, you will lead by example, fostering a positive and team-oriented atmosphere. Your responsibilities include welcoming guests with genuine hospitality, resolving guest concerns innovatively, and ensuring daily hotel operations run smoothly. You will supervise Guest Service Agents and Bartenders during your shift, assisting with scheduling, inventory management, and training to maintain the highest standards of service. Furthermore, you will be the go-to person for team members needing guidance, ensuring a cohesive and efficient workplace.

Your leadership extends to bar operations where you will help maintain cleanliness, organize supplies, and promote responsible alcohol service compliant with liquor laws. You will also support bartender training to elevate guest experiences continually. This supervisory role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask under pressure, and a passion for hospitality.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel operations, front desk, food and beverage, or bartending, with a team-first mindset. Flexibility to work nights and weekends is essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively in English and proficiency with computer systems including POS, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests with genuine hospitality and a friendly smile
  • lead by example and assist with supervising Guest Service Agents and Bartenders during your shift
  • resolve guest concerns with confidence and creativity
  • help create a positive, fun, and team-focused work environment
  • support daily hotel operations while ensuring exceptional guest service
  • be the go-to person when team members need guidance or assistance
  • assist with overseeing the evening bar operation
  • support bartender scheduling and shift coverage as needed
  • monitor inventory levels and communicate ordering needs
  • ensure liquor, beer, wine, and supplies are stocked and organized
  • maintain cleanliness, presentation, and brand standards in the bar area
  • help promote responsible alcohol service and compliance with all liquor regulations
  • assist with training and coaching bartenders to deliver outstanding guest experiences
  • work with the Assistant General Manager to train and monitor front office staff
  • monitor Guest Service Scores daily and take action to improve guest satisfaction through training, coaching and problem resolution
  • communicate with the Engineering Department regarding any maintenance requests from the guests
  • communicate with the Housekeeping Department regarding guest rooms and requests
  • handle checks and credit cards received from guests for payment of hotel charges
  • assist the Assistant General Manager by handling special requests, group blocking and unusual circumstances
  • maintain regular attendance, is consistently on time, and observes prescribed work, break and meal periods in compliance with standards
  • perform any other duties as requested by the supervisor
