The role of Guest Services Supervisor at Great Wolf is a pivotal leadership position responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience and the efficient operation of the front desk and lodge services. This supervisory role involves direct interaction with guests and front-line staff, focusing on delivering quality service, managing daily operational tasks, and supporting team members. The Guest Services Supervisor contributes to the overall profitability and success of the lodge by upholding service standards, guiding the guest services team, and resolving guest concerns promptly.

This is a full-time, part-time, and flexible schedule opportunity, with an hourly pay rate of $20.00. In the Guest Services Supervisor role, you will supervise daily front office operations, ensuring safety and service excellence are maintained. You will oversee check-in procedures, coach and motivate staff, participate in staff scheduling and recruitment, and collaborate with leadership to improve guest satisfaction scores. Your leadership will help maintain organized, safe, and well-stocked front desk and back-of-house areas. You will also play a role in performance management and employee engagement activities, fostering a positive work culture that encourages growth and recognition.

Great Wolf values candidates who have prior experience in the rooms division or front desk roles, demonstrate strong customer service and conflict resolution skills, and are proficient with essential software like Microsoft Office. Candidates with a hospitality-related degree and experience with systems like Opera are preferred. Physical ability to lift 30 pounds and work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1 year prior experience Rooms Division/Front Desk
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and general software systems
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Demonstrated customer service, conflict resolution, employee engagement, retention and team building skills
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Previous hotel experience, preferably in a large family resort or hotel

Job Duties

  • Supervises daily front office operations to ensure successful execution of all lodge safety and service standards and completion of daily tasks and assignments
  • Ensures daily success of check-in standards and operational efficiencies
  • Provides coaching, encouragement, and recognition to pack members regularly
  • Understands and champions Great Wolf policies and procedures, and collaborates with Department and Lodge leadership in performance management of the department and its Pack Members
  • Responds to questions or guest concerns and escalates pack/guest feedback to leadership as appropriate
  • Ensures the completion and proper communication/escalation of guest requests and other concerns to the appropriate department
  • Understands and participates in scheduling of staff, execution of labor management and forecasting
