The role of Guest Services Staff at AEG is vital to maintaining the high standards of safety and hospitality that guests expect from a world-class entertainment venue. This position involves directly engaging with guests to ensure their experience is enjoyable, safe, and seamless from arrival to departure. Staff members act as the first point of contact, providing expert, friendly assistance and information about venue amenities such as restrooms, VIP areas, and coat checks. Responsibilities include checking tickets and administering wristbands, enforcing venue policies, and monitoring guest conduct to maintain a secure environment. The Guest Services Staff also play an essential role in emergency preparedness, participating in evacuation procedures, and ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations. This part-time position offers an hourly wage of $10 and may come with benefits subject to Affordable Care Act (ACA) qualification. Though the role does not currently qualify for bonus compensation, it provides invaluable experience in customer service within the energetic settings of concerts, sporting events, and live performances. AEG seeks motivated individuals with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of related work experience
  • ability to work in varying conditions

  • ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time

  • previous experience working in events and knowledge of the music industry preferred
  • availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Answer guest questions
  • direct guests to important areas of the venue (restrooms, ATM, coat checks, VIP areas, and concert area)
  • provide additional assistance when necessary
  • operate coat check rooms within established guidelines
  • scan tickets for entry
  • administer applicable wristbands for event entrance (21+, VIP Access, Private Event Access)
  • greet guests and resolve complaints, escalating concerns as necessary
  • monitor guest conduct to ensure a safe and secure environment
  • monitor consumption of alcohol to prevent under-age drinking and ensure responsible consumption
  • seat guests and assist ADA patrons
  • enforce all policies and procedures of the venue
  • complete company and venue required trainings
  • participate in employee meetings
  • act as a member of the emergency evacuation team
  • communicate with and direct guests during emergencies
  • monitor venue during guest arrival and exit to comply with safety regulations
  • perform other duties as assigned by Management and Supervisors
