The role of Guest Services Staff at AEG is vital in delivering exceptional customer experiences within the venue. Guest Services Staff act as the primary interface between the guests and the venue, ensuring their safety, satisfaction, and overall enjoyment throughout the event. This position is typically part-time with a pay range between $12 and $15 per hour and may be eligible for benefits under ACA qualifications.

Guest Services Staff are responsible for welcoming guests, answering their questions, and guiding them within the facility to essential locations such as restrooms, VIP areas, ATMs, and concert spaces. They conduct ticket scanning and administer wristbands, enforce venue policies, and assist patrons with disabilities. Their role extends to maintaining a safe environment by monitoring guest behavior, overseeing alcohol consumption, and acting as part of the emergency evacuation team during emergencies.

This frontline role demands a positive attitude, superior customer service skills, and physical stamina to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods. The job requires lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the event schedule. Experience in events or knowledge of the music industry is preferred but not mandatory. Job Duties

  • Answer guest questions and direct guests to key areas such as restrooms, ATM, coat checks, VIP areas, and concert area
  • operate coat check rooms within venue guidelines
  • scan tickets for entry and administer wristbands for event access
  • greet guests and resolve complaints, escalating issues as necessary
  • monitor guest conduct to ensure safety and responsible alcohol consumption
  • seat guests and assist ADA patrons
  • enforce venue policies and complete required training
  • act as part of the emergency evacuation team during emergencies
  • monitor venue during guest arrival and exit to comply with fire safety regulations
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
