Job Description

AEG is a global leader in sports, live entertainment, and venue management with over 20 years of experience in transforming the industry. Each year, AEG hosts more than 160 million guests worldwide, promotes over 10,000 shows, and presents more than 22,000 events through its extensive network of more than 300 venues. This dynamic company integrates diverse entertainment assets including leading sports franchises, marquee music brands, premier ticketing platforms, and global sponsorship activations to create memorable moments that bring joy and excitement to audiences everywhere. Committed to innovation, artistry, and community engagement, AEG fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace that mirrors the cultural backgrounds of the artists, athletes, and fans it serves. Sustainability plays a significant role in AEG’s operations as the company adopts environmentally responsible practices across all facets of its business.

The Guest Services Staff position at AEG plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of guests within the venue. This role functions as the primary contact for patrons, assisting with various customer service needs from the moment guests arrive at the venue. The staff is responsible for answering questions, providing directions to vital venue locations such as restrooms, ATMs, coat checks, VIP areas, and concert spaces. Key responsibilities also include operating coat check rooms according to venue guidelines, scanning tickets for entry, and administering wristbands for events with specific access requirements such as 21+ age restrictions or VIP passes.

Ensuring a safe environment is paramount, as the Guest Services Staff monitors guest behavior and the consumption of alcohol to prevent underage drinking and promote responsible beverage service. They assist guests in finding their seats, especially accommodating patrons with disabilities in compliance with ADA regulations. The role also involves enforcing venue policies and participating in required training and team meetings. Staff members may serve on the emergency evacuation team, directing guests during emergencies, and ensuring the venue complies with fire safety regulations during guest arrivals and departures. This position demands a friendly, professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle guest concerns effectively, escalating issues as necessary. Working at AEG means contributing to a vibrant, fast-paced environment where every interaction helps create unforgettable entertainment experiences for millions of people globally. The employment type is part-time, with hourly pay ranging from $10 to $14. While this position is not eligible for bonuses, it may qualify for benefits under ACA guidelines, reflecting AEG’s commitment to supporting their workforce.
