Job Description

AEG (Anschutz Entertainment Group) is a globally recognized leader in the sports and live entertainment industry, with over 20 years of experience transforming how audiences experience events. Each year, AEG hosts more than 160 million guests, promotes over 10,000 shows, and presents more than 22,000 events worldwide. The company operates over 300 venues, including arenas, theaters, and integrated entertainment districts. Not only is AEG committed to delivering outstanding live entertainment, but it also prioritizes innovation, artistry, community outreach, and sustainability. The company strives to create memorable experiences that bring people together and give the world reasons to cheer, while fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace that reflects its fan base and the communities served. AEG’s business model encompasses sports franchises, marquee music brands, a premier ticketing platform, and global sponsorship activations, all working seamlessly to elevate every fan experience.

The Guest Services Staff position at AEG plays a critical role in this mission by serving as the front line of direct service to guests attending events within AEG venues. This role is about more than customer service; it is about ensuring each guest’s safety and enjoyment starting the moment they enter the facility. Staff will provide clear and courteous assistance, answer questions, and guide patrons throughout the venue including directing them to restrooms, ATMs, coat checks, VIP areas, and concert stages. Responsibilities include operating coat check rooms under established procedures, scanning tickets, administering wristbands for age and event access control, greeting and seating guests, including those with ADA requirements, and addressing guest concerns promptly in a professional manner. Vigilance in monitoring guest conduct is paramount to maintain a secure and welcoming environment. This includes oversight of alcohol consumption to prevent underage drinking and ensure responsible behavior. Guest Services Staff are tasked with enforcing all venue policies and participating actively in company training and meetings. In the event of an emergency, staff members serve as key contributors to evacuation efforts by communicating with guests to ensure their safety. Additionally, the position includes compliance with fire safety regulations during guest arrival and departure.

This part-time role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about live events and customer service, with a starting wage of $14 per hour. While it does not qualify for a bonus plan at present, employees may be eligible for benefits according to ACA requirements. AEG values dedication and flexibility, making this an ideal position for those able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Furthermore, the company emphasizes growth and adaptability, with the possibility that duties may evolve to meet operational needs.
