The role of Guest Services Representative at Live Nation Entertainment is both essential and customer-centric. This position is designed for passionate and motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess an entrepreneurial spirit. As a Guest Services Representative, you will be the face of Live Nation at the venue, proactively engaging with guests to provide information and assistance to enhance their event experience. Your primary goal will be to promote a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for venue guests by facilitating smooth entry procedures, directing guests, addressing inquiries regarding venue programs such as merchandise purchases or ticket upgrades, and helping with seat location and relocation.

This role requires a blend of excellent communication skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a genuine enthusiasm for hospitality. In addition to guest interaction, you will support venue operations by directing restroom and concession lines to minimize wait times, resolving complaints, and participating in sustainability initiatives such as waste sorting and recycling education. Your teamwork will be crucial as you assist fellow staff during peak times or breaks, aid in closing the venue post-event by collecting recyclables and storing equipment, and promptly report maintenance or cleaning issues to management.

This position demands physical stamina, including constant walking, stair climbing, and lifting items over 50 pounds. The hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $19.70 to $20.50, depending on factors such as location, qualifications, and experience. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in guest service and communications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Capacity for teamwork and program execution
  • Physical ability to walk, climb stairs, and lift and carry 50 pounds or more
  • Willingness to engage in standing and occasional sitting during shifts

Job Duties

  • Communicate venue information about policies and procedures to guests as they prepare to enter the venue
  • Look for ways to proactively assist the guest to ensure they have an enjoyable experience
  • Answer questions about common venue programs such as upgrades, purchasing fan merchandise, etc
  • Assist guests with needs such as finding their seats, seat relocation, escorting guests to artist meet and greets and finding lost items
  • Direct restroom and concessions lines, as needed, to shorten guest waiting times
  • Assist in resolving guest complaints
  • Show care by participating in the venue’s sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating fans about efforts
  • Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue, which may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment
  • Report maintenance and cleaning issues to the respective department manager in a timely manner
  • Greet guests as they enter and leave the venue
  • May also distribute advertising flyers
  • Check restrooms frequently to make sure guests' lines are moving and alerting cleaning when necessary
