Job Duties

  • Maintains superior levels of customer service for golf course patrons
  • Delivers prompt and professional solutions to external and internal customer inquiries via in-person, phone, and email interactions regarding facility services, programs, and activities
  • Promotes merchandise and driving range sales while on duty
  • Maintains professional grooming and uniform standards
  • Ensures the pro shop is fully stocked at appropriate levels
  • Assists with facility maintenance and cleanliness
  • Ensures golfers are started on the 1st and 10th tees in a timely manner
  • Ensures outside services staff effectively marshal the golf course
  • Monitors turn times to help identify slow play issues and support outside services staff
  • Follows all cash management policies
  • Maintains open communication with the professional staff
  • Provides assistance to outside services staff as needed
  • Stages and cleans motorized golf carts
  • Operates a golf cart to collect balls from the driving range
  • Participates in regular team meetings to ensure consistency across recreation facilities
  • Learns and uses GolfTrac software for pro shop operations, including membership and inventory sales, tee time bookings, and point-of-sale transactions
  • Assists in keeping marketing materials, the website, and social media sites updated with accurate information
  • Follows and assists in enforcing risk management and emergency response procedures
