Recognized for nursing excellence with multiple Magnet hospital designations, Endeavor Health employs over 25,000 team members and more than 6,000 physicians who work collaboratively to ensure transformative patient experiences and expert care close to home. The organization is deeply committed to fostering a culture of connection, belonging, and professional growth among its employees, encouraging them to reach their career goals and achieve their fullest potential within a supportive and dynamic environment.
The role of Guest Services Representative at Edward Hospital is a part-time position requiring 24 hours per week, typically working Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays. The hourly pay rate ranges from $18.38 to $26.65, depending on the candidate's expertise and years of experience. This position is pivotal in serving as a positive and responsive patient liaison, interacting with both internal and external customers of the hospital. The Guest Services Representative plays a vital role in shaping the patient and visitor experience by offering warm, caring, and sensitive service, ensuring that individuals entering the facility feel welcomed and supported.
Under general supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the Guest Services Representative provides accurate information, directions, and assistance to patients and visitors, helping meet their healthcare needs and making their experience as positive as possible. The role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to assist patients physically, including helping with mobility such as pushing wheelchairs and assisting patients in and out of vehicles. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Epic software is preferred, as is a background in customer service within industries such as healthcare, hospitality, or travel.
Endeavor Health values its employees by offering a comprehensive benefits package, including premium pay options for shift work, incentives, career pathways for professional development, various medical and dental options, tuition reimbursement, free parking, wellness programs, health savings accounts, retirement plans with company match, paid time off, holiday pay, and community involvement opportunities.
