The Guest Services Representative role at MUHA is vital in ensuring an excellent experience for patients, their families, visitors, and the clinical team. Reporting to the Manager of Guest Services, this position operates with moderate supervision to assist in inpatient and outpatient House Concierge units and information services. The representative serves as a primary point of contact, professionally greeting visitors and patients upon arrival, assessing their needs, and directing them appropriately to ensure smooth navigation within the hospital. This role also focuses on patient comfort and acts as a liaison between patients, family members, clinical staff, and other guests. By facilitating hotel accommodations, access to Chaplain and community social services, and resolving issues creatively, the Guest Services Representative helps optimize customer satisfaction.
This is a full-time employee position under the Health-19 pay grade, offering a stable hourly wage and a scheduled 40-hour work week during day shifts. The position requires standing, walking, and other physical activities throughout the shift, with duties including managing multiple service areas and maintaining compliance with institutional policies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and a professional demeanor, along with a willingness to embrace creative problem-solving techniques.

The organization fosters a culture of respect and continuous learning, where employees are encouraged to contribute meaningfully to patient-centered healthcare delivery. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their career in healthcare support services or customer relations within a medical setting. With a thorough orientation to the hospital’s standards and procedures, Guest Services Representatives will be equipped to handle varied tasks that promote a positive hospital experience for all customers.
