Job Requirements
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and AED certification within three months of hire
- Entry level requires no prior experience or a combination of related education, experience, certifications, and licenses
- Experienced level requires 2 years driving with a clean record and ability to drive city vehicles
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 49 pounds and perform manual dexterity tasks
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Job Qualifications
- Current certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED or ability to obtain within three months
- Valid driver’s license
- 1-3 years of experience in food handling, restaurant, or concessions preferred
- Experience with computer operations including Microsoft Office applications
- Spanish/English bilingual skills preferred
- Ability to provide quality customer service and work collaboratively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Greet patrons in a timely manner and ensure safety
- Deliver prompt and professional customer service via face-to-face, phone, and email
- Answer and transfer telephone calls
- Provide assistance with program registrations, facility bookings, and reservations
- Offer comprehensive tours of the facility
- Maintain sanitation and prepare food products according to Health Code regulations
- Assist in restocking supplies and ensuring cleanliness
- Use recreation management software for membership sales, program registration, and point-of-sale operations
- Assist in updating marketing materials and social media content
- Follow risk management and emergency response procedures
- Process and promote membership sales
- Maintain and update family and organization accounts
