The Guest Services Representative position within the City of Greeley's Recreation Division is an essential role dedicated to delivering excellent customer service to patrons utilizing the City's recreational facilities. This role is hourly with a full salary range of $15.16 to $21.75 and an anticipated hiring range of $15.16 to $18.46 per hour, depending on experience, education, and certifications. As a Guest Services Representative, you will assist with daily facility operations and provide courteous and professional customer service through multiple channels such as in-person interactions, phone, and email. You will greet patrons, offer information about programs and facility use, provide tours, and handle registrations and bookings. In addition, the role includes preparing concessions products in compliance with Health Code regulations and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in concessions areas. The role requires collaboration with team members to ensure consistency and quality of service across recreation sites.

This position requires a combination of customer service, clerical, and operational skills, with a particular focus on maintaining safety, hygiene, and compliance with Health Code standards. Candidates must have or be able to obtain certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED within three months of hire, along with a valid driver's license. Experience in food handling, restaurant, or concessions is preferred, along with proficiency in computer software like Microsoft Office and basic recreation management systems.

The work environment is fast-paced and involves frequent interaction with the public and City employees, occasional noise, and flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, lift up to 49 pounds, and perform manual tasks associated with the role. The position also involves some travel up to 25% of the time.

Job Requirements

  • Possession of a valid driver’s license

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet patrons in a timely manner and ensure safety
  • Deliver prompt and professional customer service via face-to-face, phone, and email
  • Answer and transfer telephone calls
  • Provide assistance with program registrations, facility bookings, and reservations
  • Offer comprehensive tours of the facility
  • Maintain sanitation and prepare food products according to Health Code regulations
  • Assist in restocking supplies and ensuring cleanliness
  • Use recreation management software for membership sales, program registration, and point-of-sale operations
  • Assist in updating marketing materials and social media content
  • Follow risk management and emergency response procedures
  • Process and promote membership sales
  • Maintain and update family and organization accounts
