Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
- valid driver’s license
- current auto insurance
- access to a functioning automobile
- ability to read and interpret internal hotel information
- strong English communication skills
- basic math skills including revenue and cash management
- proficiency with computer systems
- knowledge of front office operations and guest service
- ability to multitask and work under pressure
- flexibility to work extended hours
- physical ability to stand for long periods and perform light lifting
- ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- willingness to travel locally between properties and bank as needed
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- current auto insurance
- functioning automobile
- ability to read, understand, and interpret reports and hotel information
- proficiency in English speaking, reading, and writing
- sufficient mathematical skills for revenue calculations and cash balancing
- general computer proficiency
- thorough knowledge of front office operations and service standards
- ability to perform various front office roles
- effective communication skills
- flexibility to work long hours and manage multiple tasks
- sound judgment skills for resolving guest and operational issues
Job Duties
- Ensure reservations are taken correctly and courteously
- represent hotel in a professional and courteous manner
- check guests in and out in a timely and efficient manner
- be proficient in computer operating systems
- be available at all times to deal with guest issues professionally
- notify General Manager or equivalent immediately of any guest, employee, or cash concerns
- provide guidance to property staff as needed
- ensure compliance with safety and security standards
- report to Regional Operations Manager in General Manager’s absence
- responsible for bank deposits in General Manager’s absence
- identify and follow up on life/safety and inspection issues
- notify General Manager or equivalent immediately of any safety or security violations of policy
- leave all desk and office areas clean and neat
- ensure property is always clean and free of trash and debris
