AC Boise is a professional soccer organization dedicated to enriching the sporting culture of Boise, Idaho, by delivering top-tier soccer experiences to the local community. As the citys first professional soccer team in the United Soccer League (USL) League One, AC Boise embodies the spirit of teamwork, community engagement, and athletic excellence. AC Boise is currently inviting applicants for the position of Part-Time Usher / Guest Services Representative, a vital role within the Matchday Guest Services Team. This part-time, event-based position directly supports the day-to-day game operations by ensuring that every spectator enjoys a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience during all home games. Reporting to the Director of Stadium Operations, the usher and guest services representative maintain compliance with USL League One standards and the stadiums policies, reinforcing the clubs commitment to upholding a professional and enjoyable atmosphere. The role demands availability primarily on evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the soccer season, requiring enthusiastic team members who are dependable and customer-focused.

The responsibilities of the Part-Time Usher / Guest Services Representative extend beyond greeting guests and verifying tickets. Individuals in this role are tasked with assisting fans in finding their seats, providing directions and stadium information, and supporting accessibility needs to ensure inclusivity. They monitor seating areas, aisles, and concourses to maintain safety and comfort, enforce stadium rules and code of conduct, and manage crowd behavior in alignment with league policies. These representatives also handle guest questions and issues courteously and promptly, contributing to an overall positive matchday atmosphere. Additionally, they play a crucial part in emergency preparedness and crowd management under the guidance of matchday leadership, and assist with logistical tasks related to pre-game setup and post-game breakdown.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods up to 4 to 6 hours per event
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Reliable transportation to and from match venues
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to league, club, and venue policies

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Previous experience in customer service, event staff, or sports entertainment venues preferred
  • Knowledge of soccer or interest in AC Boise and USL League One preferred
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus

Job Duties

  • Greet fans and provide a friendly, welcoming experience at all entry points
  • Assist guests with seating, directions, accessibility needs, and general stadium information
  • Verify tickets and credentials as assigned
  • Monitor seating areas, aisles, and concourses to ensure guest safety and comfort
  • Enforce stadium rules, code of conduct, and USL League One policies in a professional manner
  • Respond to guest questions, concerns, and issues promptly and courteously
  • Support crowd management and emergency procedures as directed by matchday leadership
  • Assist with pre-game setup and post-game breakdown as needed
  • Work collaboratively with security, operations, and stadium staff
