The Guest Services Staff position at Dignity Health Arena plays a crucial role as the first point of contact for guests attending events at the facility. This role demands a dynamic individual who can offer excellent customer service while managing various responsibilities to facilitate a seamless and enjoyable guest experience. Responsibilities include greeting guests, scanning tickets to verify entry and seating, operating elevators and escalators, and guiding guests to their assigned seats as well as key arena amenities like restrooms, concessions, and first aid stations. Furthermore, the Guest Services Staff is tasked with maintaining the safety and orderliness of the seating areas, aisles, and concourse by ensuring these spaces remain clear of hazards.
This role also requires proactive problem-solving skills to address guest concerns, enforce arena policies and guest codes of conduct, and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary. Being a member of a cohesive team, the guest services staff collaborates across departments to uphold a welcoming environment. Job Duties
- Check guests' tickets to ensure guests are in the correct seating location
- Direct guests to their seating location
- Address guests not sitting in their assigned area
- Keep aisles, stairs, and concourse clear of safety hazards
- Provide accurate answers to guest questions or find out the answers
- Resolve guest complaints and escalate to supervisor as needed
- Ensure guests follow arena guest code of conduct
