Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum two years experience in hotel or casino environment
- Ability to qualify and maintain a Class A gaming license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to operate hotel and casino management software
- Ability to manage cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work independently and handle stress
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years experience in a hotel or casino environment or equivalent combination
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups
- Ability to calculate figures and perform basic algebra
- Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
- Must qualify for and maintain a Class A gaming license
- Excellent interpersonal and guest relations skills
- Ability to read, understand, and evaluate casino play
- Ability to work independently using analytical skills
- Maintain confidentiality of player accounts
- Proficient in hotel PMS and casino software like Ballys CMP, Saflok, Hotsos, Sonifi, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to type 25 wpm
- Able to organize and prioritize work
- Communicate effectively verbally and provide clear directions
- Manage stress in a fast-paced, diverse environment
- Self-starter, highly motivated, resourceful
- Maintain positive working relationships
- Able to multi-task and cross-train
- Flexible to work nights, graveyard shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Able to stand 8 to 10 hours at a time
Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous guest service during check-in, check-out, and throughout guest stay
- Maintain and balance a cash bank, process cash transactions, revenue drops, and due backs
- Issue discretionary comps based on qualified play and comping limits
- Create, update, and reprint club member accounts in the gaming system
- Establish and maintain relationships with guests at all levels
- Perform standard check-in/check-out and billing tasks within the hotel system
- Operate computer systems such as HMS, CMP, HOTSOS efficiently
- Adhere to yield management procedures for blocks, mail, events, and promotions
- Comply with credit card PCI compliance and cash handling policies
- Remain calm during emergencies and heavy hotel activity
- Follow other duties as assigned
