The role of Guest Services Representative is pivotal within the front office operations of the hotel. This position involves assisting guests courteously, efficiently, and professionally with all front office related functions. The role requires acting as the face of the hotel, ensuring that every guest interaction is handled with the utmost care and attention to detail. The Guest Services Representative is responsible for managing reservations, check-ins, and check-outs promptly and professionally, and must be proficient with computer operating systems to handle daily administrative tasks. Moreover, they serve as the key point of contact for guests’ concerns, providing effective problem solving and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
Availability to respond to guest issues at all times in a professional manner is essential, as is the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with guests, staff, and management. When the General Manager is absent, the Guest Services Representative acts as the primary authority on site, reporting directly to the Regional Operations Manager and taking responsibility for bank deposits, safety compliance, and operational oversight. This leadership component of the role requires sound judgment and the ability to manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment with time constraints.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hospitality or front office operations preferred
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
- good vision including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision
- ability to manipulate office productivity equipment
- ability to sometimes sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to perform required tasks
- strong interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Possess a valid driver’s license

Job Duties
- Ensure reservations are taken correctly and courteously
