Job Description
InTown Suites is a well-established hospitality company known for delivering high-quality extended stay accommodations throughout the United States. With a focus on providing affordable, comfortable, and convenient lodging, InTown Suites caters to a diverse clientele including business travelers, families, and individuals seeking temporary housing solutions. The company is committed to creating a supportive work environment where employees are passionate about their roles and dedicated to customer service excellence. The property located at 4676 Commerce Avenue NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87107, is one of the many properties managed by InTown Suites, highlighting their nationwide footprint in the extended stay hotel sector.
The position of Guest Services Representative at this property is pivotal to the smooth operation and success of the front office. This full-time role requires a courteous, efficient, and professional individual who can handle all front office functions in the absence of the General Manager. The Guest Services Representative acts as the face of the hotel, ensuring guests receive exemplary service from check-in to check-out. This role demands a mix of customer service skills, operational knowledge, and problem-solving abilities to effectively manage guest interactions, reservations, and staff guidance.
Duties include ensuring accurate and courteous handling of reservations, representing the hotel professionally, and maintaining a high level of efficiency during guest check-ins and check-outs. The role requires proficiency in computer systems used for hotel management and the ability to respond promptly to guest issues. The Guest Services Representative also oversees safety and security compliance, supervises property cleanliness, and handles bank deposits when the General Manager is not available.
In addition to operational tasks, this role involves communication with the Regional Operations Manager and other property staff to maintain high service standards. Effective time management, multitasking, and the capacity to work under pressure are essential traits for success in this position. The role may also involve occasional travel to other properties within the market and to the bank, requiring a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Work environment considerations include prolonged periods of standing, occasional physical activities such as lifting and moving items, and potential exposure to variable weather conditions if working at an exterior property. The position requires strong vision capabilities and frequent use of hands and fingers for tasks like typing, answering phone calls, and operating office equipment.
InTown Suites offers comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance for full-time employees, a 401k plan with company match, paid time off, and weekly payroll. New hires benefit from easy-to-follow training programs and a supportive team throughout the onboarding process. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, customer-focused hospitality environment and who believe passionately in delivering outstanding guest experiences.
