The Guest Services Representative role at Caesars Entertainment is an essential position within the casino environment, where professionalism and a welcoming attitude are paramount. This full-time role centers around providing outstanding service to guests and ensuring smooth financial transactions at gaming tables and cashiers’ stations. Key responsibilities include accurately handling funds, maintaining cash drawer balances, and processing customer inquiries with courtesy and accuracy. The role also involves interacting proactively with guests to redeem points for cash or prizes and updating player accounts, contributing to a memorable customer gaming experience.

In addition to transactional duties, the Guest Services Representative acts as an ambassador of the company’s values, upholding confidentiality regarding financial information, adhering to regulatory and company policies, and supporting casino events and promotions. This position demands flexibility in work hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet business needs. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and maintain extended standing or walking shifts in an environment that accommodates smoking and pets.

Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 gaming license
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Proficient in English verbal and written
  • Proficient with iOS devices
  • Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
  • Ability to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended periods
  • Must be able to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment

Job Duties

  • Accurately count and record assigned funds
  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal customers at all times
  • Promptly cash customers out, give correct change, and answer customer questions in a courteous and professional manner
  • Make exchanges of funds throughout the shift
  • Keep cash drawer balanced and impressed
  • Make exchanges with the vault
  • Verify and document personal identification information for T-31 transactions
  • Complete CTRs, CCTL’s, MTLs, and all other required documentation
  • Track and complete Title 31 and Suspicious Activity reports
  • Issue player’s cards for guests or update player’s accounts with current information
  • Assure that guests have a favorable gaming experience
  • Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, operating systems, company policies and procedures, marketing plans, and team member and guest information
  • Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities, and assist as needed
  • Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner
  • Redeem points from accounts for patrons for cash or prizes
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same
  • Handle routine customer complaints and incidents, and exhibit appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring supervisory attention
  • Assist in maintaining a spotless casino by disposing of items left on the floor
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested by management
