Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year customer service experience preferably in municipal government or recreational setting
- Intellectual and conceptual ability to create customer friendly processes
- Certification in advanced CPR, First Aid, and AED within one month of employment
- Initiative to learn new software
- Willingness and ability to work varied shifts including holidays and weekends
- Manual dexterity to operate office equipment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
- Ability to handle questions and complaints professionally
- Ability to work independently and use judgment
- Ability to relocate to different registration offices as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Additional college or trade education preferred
- Minimum of one year customer service experience preferably in municipal government or recreation
- Certification in advanced CPR, First Aid, and AED within one month of employment
- Ability to learn new computer software programs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work varied and long shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Demonstrates positive public relations techniques while recognizing, welcoming, and assisting patrons
- Accepts, verifies, and processes program registrations and support documentation
- Responsible for accepting, verifying, and processing membership applications and payments
- Assists guests with registration inquiries and suggests appropriate programs
- Troubleshoots technical issues related to registration
- Processes refunds and program transfers as necessary
- Works as a cashier and supports recreation programming staff
- Maintains program flyer displays and participates in staff meetings and training
