The company prides itself on fostering a work culture that is passionate, customer-focused, and supportive, where every employee believes in the mission and contributes to the overall guest experience. Located at 109 South Gallaher View Road, Knoxville, Tennessee, this branch is part of a nationwide network of properties that combine convenience with superior service standards.
The Guest Services Representative role at InTown Suites Knoxville is a pivotal position within the front office team. This role requires an individual who can provide efficient, courteous, and professional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and with a friendly attitude. The representative acts as a face of the hotel, managing all front office responsibilities, especially when the General Manager is not available. This includes handling guest reservations, overseeing check-ins and check-outs, and maintaining smooth operations of the front desk.
In addition to guest interaction, the position demands operational oversight such as notifying management of any guest or employee concerns and ensuring the property complies with safety and security standards. The representative is also entrusted with handling bank deposits and reporting to the Regional Operations Manager during the General Manager's absence. The role requires multitasking in often stressful and time-sensitive situations, demanding strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments.
Candidates must have strong computer proficiency and excellent communication skills in English, alongside a solid understanding of front office operations, guest relations, and upselling techniques. The work environment includes both indoor responsibilities and occasional exposure to external conditions, requiring physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving lifting and movement.
This full-time role not only requires a commitment to customer service excellence but also offers a dynamic workplace with a supportive team and clear training programs. Employees can benefit from health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options, 401k with company match, paid time off, and weekly payroll. Overall, this position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to grow in the hospitality industry and contribute meaningfully to guest satisfaction and operational success at InTown Suites Knoxville.
