The role being offered is that of a Guest Services Representative, a crucial position within the front office operations. The Guest Services Representative acts as the face of the hotel, ensuring that guests receive timely and high-quality services during check-in and check-out as well as throughout their stay. In addition to typical guest interaction duties, the Guest Services Representative is responsible for maintaining safety and security standards, handling guest issues with professionalism, and providing guidance to property staff. When the General Manager is not present, this role covers all aspects of the front office, including managing bank deposits and reporting to the Regional Operations Manager. This requires the ability to make quick decisions, manage multiple priorities under pressure, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
This position requires flexibility to work long hours and the ability to manage stressful situations with time constraints, showcasing strong time management and problem-solving skills. The role also involves occasional travel within the market area and requires physical stamina to stand for extended periods, move moderately heavy items, and use office productivity machinery. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hotel front office or guest services preferred
- possess a valid driver's license
- current auto insurance
- access to a functioning automobile
- proficiency in computer operating systems
- strong communication skills in English
- mathematical skills for basic calculations
- ability to work flexible hours and holidays
- physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and operate office equipment
- ability to handle stressful situations and multiple tasks simultaneously
- willingness to travel locally as needed
Job Qualifications
- Possess a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a functioning automobile

Job Duties
- Ensures reservations are taken correctly and courteously
- represent hotel in a professional and courteous manner
- check guests in and out in a timely and efficient manner
- be proficient in computer operating system
- be available at all times to deal with guest issues professionally
- notify General Manager or equivalent immediately of any guest, employee, or cash concerns
- provide guidance to property staff as needed
- ensure compliance of safety and security standards
- report to Regional Operations Manager in General Manager's absence
- responsible for bank deposits in General Manager's absence
- identify and follow up on life/safety and inspection issues
- notify General Manager or equivalent of any safety or security violations
- leave all desk and office areas clean and neat
- take responsibility for ensuring property is always clean and free of trash and debris
