The role in question is a full-time, evening shift position within the Guest Services department at the Burnet Campus. With a schedule from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM and an expected starting pay range between $16.50 and $19.80 per hour, this role offers an opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering outstanding customer care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This position centers on providing frontline support to patients, families, staff, and external partners, ensuring every visitor’s experience is welcoming, seamless, and informed. Responsibilities include managing phone communications with professionalism and efficiency, offering clear and positive guidance about hospital policies and services, and actively responding to visitors’ needs and inquiries with empathy and accuracy. Individuals in this role will be key facilitators in visitor management, including enforcing visitor policies with respect and discretion, distributing access credentials, and educating staff about visitor protocols. Problem-solving skills are essential to investigate and resolve guest issues promptly, all while communicating clearly across various mediums. This position requires adaptability and a positive disposition to navigate and diffuse challenging situations, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction. Candidates will also have the chance to act as departmental resources or mentors to others, contributing to a supportive and knowledgeable team environment.
