  • Prior customer service experience
  • Ability to lead and supervise staff
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures

  • Willingness to follow cash handling policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service or similar roles
  • Ability to lead and direct a small team
  • Knowledge of cash handling and reconciliation procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work courteously and tactfully with a diverse public
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Prior experience in community center or recreational facility settings is preferred

Job Duties

  • Leads the Guest Service Desk
  • Coordinates rentals for parties and large group bookings
  • Responsible for cashiering and receipting of all fees
  • Processes daily use passes
  • Promptly scans membership cards
  • Performs accurate daily reconciliation according to approved cash handling procedures
  • Retrieves and balances money drops from safe
  • Greets and assists customers on the phone, in person and via email
  • Provides information to customers as needed
  • Communicates courteously and tactfully with the public
  • Anticipates and resolves problems with registration information or point of sale issues
  • Recommends solutions to potential problems
