Additionally, the role includes addressing guest requests for room changes when possible, coordinating transportation for guests, and ensuring priority resolution of any pending issues from the previous day. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
  • Capability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to read and interpret various information formats

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Activate room keys using electronic key machines and distribute keys to guests as needed
  • Communicate with relevant staff about guests waiting for available rooms
  • Inform guests of any messages received and deliver them to rooms upon request
  • Handle room change requests when possible
  • Provide directions and information about hotel amenities, services, schedules, and local points of interest
  • Label, store, and retrieve luggage from the baggage deposit and provide guests with appropriate receipts
  • Identify and explain room features to guests
  • Prioritize and resolve pending requests or issues from previous day
  • Arrange transportation for guests or visitors
  • Respond promptly to all guest needs and requests
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • Complete all required safety trainings and certifications
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information and protect company assets
  • Support coworkers with dignity and respect
  • Assist team in achieving common goals
  • Meet quality assurance expectations and standards
  • Move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds without assistance
  • Stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods or full shifts
  • Read and visually verify information in various formats
  • Inspect tools, equipment, or machinery to identify defects
  • Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights requiring fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination
  • Reach overhead and under knees, including bending, twisting the waist, dragging, and stooping
  • Climb ladders and service stairs or ramps
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
