The company values diversity and inclusion, fostering a workplace where associates from varied backgrounds can thrive and contribute meaningfully. Marriott operates with the understanding that its greatest asset is its people, and it actively supports equal opportunity employment, ensuring a respectful environment free of discrimination based on disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
This role is for a Guest Service Expert, a vital frontline position within Marriott's Food and Beverage & Culinary department at the Scottsdale, Arizona location. The position is full-time and non-management, ideal for individuals enthusiastic about hospitality and eager to contribute to an exceptional dining experience. Additionally, this role requires maintaining cleanliness and organization of workspaces and supplies, contributing to the overall guest experience and operational efficiency.
The nature of the position demands a high level of physical agility and stamina, as Guest Service Experts spend significant time on their feet, navigating various surfaces in the dining area. They handle movements that include lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance, bending, twisting, and stooping. This physicality is paired with consistent professionalism in appearance and communication, ensuring Marriott’s reputation for high standards is upheld.
Working at Marriott offers the opportunity to be part of a globally admired company dedicated not only to guest satisfaction but also to associate well-being.
