Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in event security, law enforcement, or related field is advantageous
  • Possess strong physical fitness
  • Exhibit excellent observational and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work effectively in a team
  • Maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Possess a valid security license or be willing to obtain one if required
  • Successfully pass a background check and drug screening

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Maintain a visible and professional presence to the standards of the client and BEST
  • Patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized activities and ensure safety
  • Monitor access points including conducting bag checks and entry screenings
  • Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies including medical emergencies and disturbances
  • Collaborate with event staff, law enforcement, and emergency services to coordinate security efforts
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting attendees and answering questions
  • Report security-related occurrences and maintain accurate documentation
  • Uphold company policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure professionalism and security effectiveness
