The role of Transportation Supervisor at Full House Resorts is pivotal to ensuring seamless valet, bell, and shuttle services for guests and employees at their resorts. As an assistant to the Transportation Manager, the Transportation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Transportation Team to deliver prompt, safe, and courteous services. This position involves supervising a team that greets guests, handles vehicle retrievals and parking, provides shuttle services, and assists with luggage handling. The supervisor is expected to enforce cleanliness standards for vehicles, ensure safe driving practices, and promote efficient staff scheduling and training. Flexibility is important as this role may require shift coverage and overtime. The Transportation Supervisor also functions as an ambassador of the resort by addressing guest inquiries, guiding guests to their rooms, managing baggage services, and always upholding the 4-star customer service standards set by the company. They must maintain awareness of safety and security conditions and communicate any concerns directly to management. Aside from operational responsibilities, this role includes supporting other departments and participating in special projects as needed.

This position demands strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to the high expectations of guest service and operational safety. Candidates should have prior experience operating passenger vehicles, a valid Colorado driver license with a clean driving record, and be at least 21 years of age. Physical stamina is required to perform tasks that include vehicle maintenance, luggage handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking in varied weather conditions. The Transportation Supervisor will be expected to use equipment such as two-way radios, vehicles, and maintenance tools effectively. Working conditions include indoor environments with high noise levels and outdoor exposure to weather fluctuations. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid and current State of Colorado Driver License
  • Good driving record
  • Ability to perform frequent walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, and standing for entire shift
  • Ability to perform vehicle maintenance including washing and snow removal
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Willingness to work any shift including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in loud indoor environments and variable outdoor weather conditions
  • Ability to use automotive equipment and communication devices like two-way radios
  • Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with guests and staff

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience operating various passenger vehicles
  • Effective and diplomatic customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in problem solving and prioritizing work
  • Experience leading and motivating staff
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent preferred
  • One or more years of recent related experience preferred
  • Valid and current State of Colorado Driver License with a good driving record
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English

Job Duties

  • Assists in supervising the Transportation Team
  • Ensures the smooth and efficient function of the department providing valet, bell, and shuttle services
  • Provides training and technical direction to Transportation Staff including new employees
  • Works with the Transportation Manager to schedule staff to meet business needs
  • Greets arriving and departing guests, opens passenger doors and offers assistance
  • Provides clear instruction on valet vehicle reclaiming procedures
  • Maintains cleanliness of customer vehicles
  • Retrieves and parks customer vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Provides safe and courteous shuttle services for guests and employees
  • Performs general vehicle maintenance on shuttle vehicles
  • Greets and informs customers of shuttle services
  • Responds helpfully to guest questions
  • Maintains alertness and exercises caution during vehicle operations
  • Monitors safety and security conditions and reports concerns
  • Escorts guests to hotel rooms and explains room features
  • Receives and marks baggage with claim checks
  • Transfers luggage and packages to appropriate locations
  • Arranges shipments of baggage and mail including weighing and billing services
  • Completes charge slips and maintains service records
  • Delivers messages, room service orders, and runs errands for guests
  • Provides excellent customer service upholding 4-star standards
  • Wears and maintains uniforms and gaming licenses appropriately
  • Performs duties in compliance with safety procedures, gaming laws, and internal policies
  • Performs additional duties including special projects and department assistance as needed
