Currently, Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley is seeking a Guest Services Attendant to join their dedicated team. This role is vital as the first and last impression for guests, embodying the hotel’s promise of exceptional hospitality. The Guest Services Attendant will be responsible for creating a strong and welcoming sense of arrival by greeting guests warmly, assisting with luggage handling, and offering parking services with complete attention to safety and professionalism. The position requires a personable, attentive individual who can respond to guest inquiries, accommodate special requests, and contribute to a seamless guest experience throughout the property. This role involves interaction with other hotel departments such as Concierge and Front Desk, working collaboratively to ensure all guest needs are met efficiently.

The duties include assisting guests with luggage upon check-in and departure, handling parking duties that involve receiving and delivering vehicles, noting any existing vehicle damage, and transporting luggage and deliveries promptly and carefully. Additionally, the attendant is expected to adhere to Four Seasons’ rigorous standards of conduct and hospitality and to perform other support functions such as assisting with in-room dining deliveries during overnight shifts and running errands for guests. The ability to operate within a high-demand, fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional service quality is paramount.

This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, evenings, and overnight shifts. Comfortable mobility is necessary as the role demands being on foot for the entire shift and handling physical tasks such as lifting luggage. Language proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with guests and team members. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record due to the nature of vehicle handling duties. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in luxury hotel or restaurant preferred
  • Must be flexible with schedule - able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evenings and overnights
  • Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license required
  • Ability to lift and carry luggage and pull luggage carts - 100 percent of shift is mobile
  • Ability to multi-task in high volume and demanding environment
  • Must provide work authorization document - proof of eligibility to work in the United States of America

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greets all guests and delivers luggage to room upon check-in, picks up luggage from room upon departure, moving the luggage to storage or the front drive
  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
  • Resolves customer complaints, assist guests in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, directions, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc
  • Assist the Concierge and Front Desk with deliveries, tasks and special requests
  • Receives vehicles from guests and drives to the hotel garage, adhering to all traffic regulations, and speed limits, using caution not to damage the vehicle being driven and other vehicles in the vicinity
  • Pick up vehicles when requested in a timely manner
  • Yields to pedestrians
  • Assesses any damage to vehicle
  • Clearly notes any damage on claim ticket along with location of vehicle when parked
  • Deposits key and ticket in Bell closet
  • Performs errands for guests and the hotel that may require local travel off of the hotel property
  • Assists with preparation and delivery of In Room Dining delivery and housekeeping items during Overnight shift
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
  • Complies with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact
  • Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
