The Guest Services Associate position at WorldMark Birch Bay is a full-time role designed to bring warmth and efficiency to the guest experience from arrival through departure. The typical shift from 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm puts this associate in a crucial role during the resort’s busy evening hours. This position is essential in welcoming guests with a friendly demeanor, managing check-in and check-out processes, and providing comprehensive information about the resort and surrounding attractions.
In this role, associates are expected to combine excellent communication skills with a professional appearance and a can-do attitude to create a positive atmosphere for guests. Responsibilities include guiding guests through registration, issuing unit keys, and responding promptly to inquiries and concerns to ensure guests feel valued and cared for. Handling cash and credit transactions responsibly while adhering to established procedures is also a key function, along with balancing receipts and maintaining accurate financial records.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous guest service or hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to work full-time hours including the 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm shift
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Excellent English communication skills
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong organizational skills
- Basic proficiency with computers and office software

Job Duties
- Bring smiles to guests from around the world by providing warm welcomes
- Guide guests through the registration process, issue unit keys, and provide information about the resort and area attractions
- Process cash and credit card transactions strictly following established procedures
- Balance cash receipts, perform bucket checks, and complete other cashier/money handling responsibilities
- Complete all check-out procedures and verify that the correct charges and credits are reflected in guest folios
- Reserve and confirm reservations for individuals and/or groups
- Provide guests with room rate quotes
- Respond to guest inquiries and concerns as quickly and completely as possible
