The Guest Services Associate position at the Grand Desert Resort offers an exciting opportunity to be the face of the resort and enhance the overall guest experience. This part-time role, offering 24 hours per week at an hourly rate of $18.25, is essential in creating positive first impressions and ensuring guests feel valued and well taken care of from registration through checkout. As a Guest Services Associate, you will play a vital role in directly interacting with guests, providing helpful information about resort offerings, local attractions, and assisting with reservations and room rates. Your responsibilities will include guiding guests through the check-in and check-out processes, processing transactions accurately, managing cash and credit card payments according to established protocols, and maintaining balanced cash receipts. The role requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. Job Duties

  • Bring smiles to guests from around the world by providing warm welcomes
  • Guide guests through the registration process, issue unit keys, and provide information about the resort and area attractions
  • Process cash and credit card transactions strictly following established procedures
  • Balance cash receipts, perform bucket checks, and complete other cashier/money handling responsibilities
  • Complete all check-out procedures and verify that the correct charges and credits are reflected in guest folios
  • Reserve and confirm reservations for individuals and/or groups
  • Provide guests with room rate quotes
  • Respond to guest inquiries and concerns as quickly and completely as possible
