This role centers on greeting guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, efficiently handling check-in and check-out processes, and serving as a knowledgeable resource to guests and visitors. The Guest Services Associate is responsible for processing payments in line with established hotel procedures, maintaining front desk organization, and ensuring that all guest interactions meet PAH Management's exacting standards of service. This position requires a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can multitask effectively, and exhibits a service-centric attitude at all times. Available work shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, underscoring the need for flexibility and reliability. \n\nBeyond operational tasks, this role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to resolve guest issues with professionalism, and a consistent hospitable demeanor. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in customer service, preferably with previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings, and will be adept at using property management systems. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • customer service experience required preferably in a hotel or related field
  • ability to multitask remain detail-oriented and service-centric in a fast-paced position
  • ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
  • ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and listen effectively
  • availability to work flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
  • ability to lift pull and push moderate weight minimum 20 lbs
  • ability to remain standing or walking for entire shift
  • ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced front desk environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • customer service experience preferably in a hotel or related hospitality field
  • ability to multitask and remain detail-oriented and service-centric
  • ability to evaluate and select among alternatives quickly and accurately
  • strong communication skills with ability to listen and understand guest and co-worker concerns
  • previous front desk or guest services experience preferred
  • experience with hotel property management systems preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent customer service to arriving and departing guests and owners
  • check guests in and out and make reservations and confirmations
  • efficiently maintain daily organization of the front desk operation
  • process all payments according to established hotel requirements including cash and credit card handling procedures
  • follow PAH Management operational policies and procedures including safety and security standards
  • communicate with guests and co-workers and relay pertinent information using logbooks
  • provide information to guest and visitor inquiries and coordinate guest requests for services
