Thrive Companies is a dynamic and community-focused hospitality group that is passionate about creating meaningful relationships and authentic experiences for guests and team members alike. As the parent company of The Little Grand, Thrive Companies operates various innovative hospitality concepts that foster a sense of belonging and create lasting memories for both locals and visitors. The Little Grand is a vibrant multi-faceted venue that combines elements of bar, dining, and event spaces, providing a unique environment where guests can enjoy specialty cocktails, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere. Positioned as a neighborhood hub, The Little Grand offers multiple bar areas including indoor and outdoor spaces such as The Little Grand Bar, Seven Sisters Patio, and Bada, along with satellite and mobile beverage stations for special events.
The role of Guest Experience Associate - Bartender at The Little Grand is a part-time, seasonal position tailored for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, customer-oriented environments and have a passion for mixology and hospitality. This position carries the responsibility of delivering outstanding guest service by crafting specialty cocktails and serving food in a friendly and professional manner. The bartender will be involved in multiple bar operations throughout the venue and will play a key role in elevating the beverage program's quality and innovation. The shift schedule typically runs from Thursday to Sunday, covering both day and evening hours, supporting The Little Grand’s busy summer and fall seasons.
As a Guest Experience Associate - Bartender, the individual will engage guests from the moment they arrive until they leave, ensuring a hospitable and memorable experience. This role requires elevated knowledge in mixology and may also involve duties aligned with sommelier skills or beverage program development, assisting management with daily operational needs. Working in various bar areas, including during events, this position demands excellent multitasking skills, a calm demeanor under pressure, and the ability to foster a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere. The Little Grand seeks candidates who are not only skilled in beverage service but also exemplify teamwork, leadership, and a commitment to high standards of guest satisfaction that appeals to all five senses—clean environment, appealing aromas, tasteful drinks, lively music, and overall ambiance.
This position reports directly to the Guest Experience Manager and offers a competitive wage of $10.00 per hour plus tips, with payments made bi-weekly. Additionally, the position includes eligibility for the company’s 401k plan with a 4% employer match and discounted membership opportunities to local fitness facilities such as Athletic Cos. The team at The Little Grand values continuous learning and growth, offering an environment where bartenders can expand their beverage knowledge and develop professionally over the course of the season. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess availability for multiple shifts per week, including evenings and weekends, to meet the demands of a bustling hospitality venue dedicated to exceptional guest experiences.
