Job Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Ability to understand verbal and written directions and safety signage
  • Physical ability for frequent walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and repetitive hand movements
  • Flexibility to work varied schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Experience in hospitality is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance in accordance with property standards
  • Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, eye contact, and friendly verbal greeting
  • Register and orient arriving guests according to property standards
  • Be knowledgeable about the property, its programs, amenities, and experiences
  • Answer telephone calls with a pleasant demeanor, listening carefully to caller requests and taking notes as needed
  • Serve as concierge, sharing knowledge of the area and suggesting activities, dining options, and transportation assistance
  • Manage and resolve guest complaints and compliments professionally, maintaining composure under pressure
  • Maintain accurate guest accounts, process check-outs, and handle payments efficiently
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure appearance of front desk and lobby areas
  • Protect the assets of the property and respect confidentiality of front desk correspondence and transactions
