Their motto, "Together We Thrive," reflects a corporate culture dedicated to bringing quality accommodations and incredible hospitality to every guest, every stay, each time. This ethos drives all aspects of the company’s operations and service delivery throughout their global locations.\n\nThe role of Guest Services Agent (GSA) at Sonesta International Hotels is a critical front-line position essential to the smooth operation and successful guest experience in the hotel. The GSA acts as the first and most direct point of contact for guests as they enter the hotel, thereby representing the Sonesta brand and ensuring a welcoming, professional, and efficient experience. This role requires delivering on the Sonesta G.U.E.S.T. service standards, which emphasize courteous, attentive, and personalized interactions with guests to create lasting positive impressions.\n\nAs a GSA, the individual will be responsible for various operational duties tied to front desk technology systems, guest relations, and transactional accuracy. This includes managing guest registration, issuing room keys, answering phones promptly, and providing comprehensive information on hotel services and room details. The GSA also handles monetary transactions following strict procedures, ensuring security and accuracy in cash and credit card processing. Additionally, the role may include managing reservations for individual and group bookings, performing upselling to maximize hotel revenue, enforcing seasonal reservation pricing strategies, and coordinating with other departments to promote cohesive teamwork and quality service.\n\nThe position involves working overnight and weekend shifts, which require flexibility and dedication to maintaining service standards during less conventional hours.
