Job Description
Located in the heart of Denver, Colorado, our hotel is steeped in history and elegance. The establishment is uniquely housed in the iconic Colorado National Bank building, a magnificent Neoclassical landmark constructed from the same Colorado Yule Marble as the Lincoln Memorial. This historic setting offers a stunning three-story atrium adorned with original Allen Tupper True murals along with exquisite original bank vaults now transformed into distinctive meeting spaces. Our hotel seamlessly blends rich historical heritage with modern hospitality and comfort, establishing itself as a premier destination for travelers visiting Denver.
As a Guest Service Agent, you will be an essential part of our team, going beyond traditional front desk responsibilities to become a “Navigator” for our guests. This role is vital in delivering an outstanding guest experience by managing the check-in and check-out processes, maintaining accurate and up-to-date guest records, and addressing guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. You will work within a dynamic and culturally significant environment, ensuring guests enjoy personalized service in a setting that reflects Denver's rich history and cultural heritage.
This part-time, non-exempt position reports to the Operations Manager and offers a pay rate of $19.29 per hour. The Guest Service Agent will handle reservations, process payments, verify credits, and communicate effectively with guests and hotel departments to resolve any issues promptly. Mastery of property management systems, along with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, will empower you to excel in this role and contribute significantly to guest satisfaction.
Working in this role requires flexibility to cover evening, weekend, and holiday shifts and the physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, occasionally lifting items up to 10 pounds. You will operate in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment where attention to detail and efficient communication are crucial. The hotel supports equal employment opportunities and provides reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. This position embraces inclusivity and diversity, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to a unique historical hotel experience.
