Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 months hospitality or customer service experience
- Ability to speak and hear in English
- Close and distance vision
- Frequent sitting, walking, and standing
- Ability to lift and carry 6-25 lbs
- Ability to work overtime and irregular hours
- Physical capability to handle manual and fine motor dexterity tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 months hospitality, general office, accounts receivable, or customer service experience
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic knowledge of office equipment operation
- Customer service orientation
- Capability to perform lead duties if required
Job Duties
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
- Issue room key and escort instructions to Bell person or directly to guest without announcing room numbers
- Answer inquiries about hotel services, registration, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions
- Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts
- Make, confirm, and cancel reservations for guests
- Compute bills, collect payment, and make change for guests
- Post charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone
- Date-stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail and messages
- Transmit and receive messages using telephone, fax, and switchboard
- Enforce hotel company credit policies
- Account for all cash and make deposits as per company policies
- Greet guests warmly
- Take lead responsibility in absence of Supervisor
- Assign work and ensure performance of assigned employees
- Make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations
- Deposit guests’ valuables in safe or safe-deposit box
- Order complimentary flowers or champagne for special guests
- Perform other duties as assigned
