Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to move, lift, push, or carry objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
  • Willingness to perform reasonable job-related tasks as requested by supervisors
  • Good communication skills
  • Friendly and service-oriented attitude

Job Duties

  • Organize, confirm and process guests' check-in and check-out and adapt to changes
  • Ensure payments, verify and adjust billing as necessary
  • Provide guests with room assignments and information about hotel, directions, amenities and local points of interest
  • Prepare daily reports and review to communicate to next shift staff
  • Complete cashier and closing reports, and accurately count cash at the end of each shift
  • Accept and log wake-up call requests and communicate to appropriate departments
  • Communicate emergencies, lost articles or thefts to authorities or security staff
  • Maintain contingency lists for emergencies and communicate necessary messages
