As a front-line representative of the hotel, you will play a vital role in organizing, confirming, and processing guest check-ins and check-outs with precision and a welcoming demeanor. You will be responsible for verifying payments and adjusting billing as needed, ensuring that every financial transaction maintains the high standards of accuracy expected at JW Marriott. Beyond transactional duties, your role includes providing guests with comprehensive information about the hotel’s amenities, local attractions, and directions, contributing significantly to a positive and memorable guest experience.

Daily reporting responsibilities are an integral part of this role, requiring meticulous attention to detail to prepare and review shift reports and communicate pertinent information to the incoming team. This ensures continuity and coordination across staffing shifts. At the end of each shift, you will manage cash handling duties, including completing cashier and closing reports, and reconciling cash balances accurately.

Additional tasks include managing wake-up call requests, communicating emergency situations, lost items, or security concerns to appropriate departments or authorities, and maintaining updated contingency lists to support emergency preparedness. Your ability to remain calm, organized, and professional under various circumstances is crucial to maintaining the reputation of excellence Marriott is known for.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • organize, confirm and process guest check-in and check-out and adapt to changes
  • ensure payments and verify and adjust billing as needed
