Job Description

This role is a full-time, non-management position in the Rooms & Guest Services Operations category. The position is onsite at the Los Angeles property and involves direct engagement with guests to ensure their experience is welcoming, comfortable, and seamless. Compensation starts at $27.16 per hour with increments to $30.56 after 9 months and $33.95 after 18 months of employment, reflecting the hotel's commitment to rewarding and retaining dedicated team members.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage guest check-in and check-out efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and accuracy in billing. You will greet guests warmly, provide them with relevant information about the hotel facilities, local points of interest, and ensure their needs are anticipated and met. This role involves handling cash and reconciliation duties at the end of each shift, maintaining contingency lists for emergencies, and communicating effectively with hotel departments and security in case of incidents or special requests.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in guest services or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to work full-time onsite
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to uphold quality and service standards

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Organize, confirm and process guest check-in and check-out and adapt according to changes
  • Ensure payments and verify and adjust billing as necessary
  • Provide guests with room and hotel information, directions, amenities and local points of interest
  • Prepare daily reports and review communication for next shift staff
  • Complete cashier and closing reports and count cash accurately at the end of each shift
  • Accept and log wake-up calls and inform appropriate departments
  • Communicate emergencies, lost items or theft cases to authorities or security
  • Maintain contingency lists for emergencies and relay necessary messages
